Our New Home
Back in 2012, the historic street market of Via Montegrappa, in Bari, was moved to a permanent structure after 60 years. This event attracted a filmmaker from Rome, Giampaolo Marconato, who shot a documentary about it, called "La Casa Nuova" (Our New Home).
This documentary captures the final moments of the market through the voices of vendors and residents, and the first day in its new home—preserving the soul of a community in transition. Alessio was the composer of the soundtrack.
